Vaccination Reminders for Parents

  1. Parents should bring the child to the clinic for vaccination as scheduled. However, if the scheduled vaccination is missed, please explain the situation to the doctor and make a new appointment.

  2. Parents should be aware of the health conditions of the child a few days before vaccination. If the child is ill with a fever, put off the vaccination until they have recovered and arrange another appointment.

  3. Remember to bring along the immunization record card to the clinic for vaccination.

  4. After injection, some reactions such as pain, redness or swelling at injection site, mild fever and vomiting may occur, but these discomfort symptoms are self-limiting, so parents do not need to get over worried about these symptoms. However, if these adverse effects persist for more than a few days, you should seek advice from a medical professional.
