Vaccination Reminders for Parents
- Parents should bring the child to the clinic for vaccination as scheduled. However, if the scheduled vaccination is missed, please explain the situation to the doctor and make a new appointment.
- Parents should be aware of the health conditions of the child a few days before vaccination. If the child is ill with a fever, put off the vaccination until they have recovered and arrange another appointment.
- Remember to bring along the immunization record card to the clinic for vaccination.
- After injection, some reactions such as pain, redness or swelling at injection site, mild fever and vomiting may occur, but these discomfort symptoms are self-limiting, so parents do not need to get over worried about these symptoms. However, if these adverse effects persist for more than a few days, you should seek advice from a medical professional.
